From a loving passion for video games, art, cosplay, and all things cute. I got into gaming at the ripe age of 9 playing my older cousin’s Dreamcast. It wasn't until I was 11 on Christmas that I got my Nintendo Gamecube and was given Sonic Adventure 2 Battle & Super Smash Bros Melee, I fell in love with the fast-paced action and story-telling of Sonic Adventure 2 the game that made me a Sonic fan. Smash Brothers not only introduced me to the world of fighting games but the playful world of Nintendo which also connected me to my other favorite franchise Kirby. As I got older, I got into more traditional feminine interests I often struggled with navigating the gaming fandom landscape, especially as a black woman. My goal for the podcast is to provide a space for people who feel that they don’t have a space to share their passions and interests. I’m super excited to be a part of the podcast with my BFF to share our love of video games, anime, and cosplay with you
